The Annual Meeting of the Colorado Health Information Management Association (CHIMA) will be held May 16-18, 2012 at the Denver Marriott West. This meeting will provide CHIMA members the opportunity to attend quality educational presentations and network with colleagues from a wide variety of professional settings.
The program committee is seeking subject matter experts from all areas of Health Information Management and Health Information Technology to contribute to this meeting. Topic ideas include, but are not limited to, compliance, data management, informatics, EHR disaster recovery, hybrid record management, RAC, meaningful use, electronic health records and ICD-10-CM/PCS. All submissions will be considered by the committee.
This year, one full day will be dedicated to coding and three educational tracks will be offered which will include a hospital coding track, a physician practice track, and a long-term care track.
