An innovative educational program for you to dialogue with your State Legislators about Health IT policies and priorities

Register today to attend the 3rd Annual Colorado State Health Information Technology (HIT) Advocacy Day. This educational event promises a full day of activities that includes panel discussions from executives leading key state healthcare agencies, Chief Information Officers (CIOs), and the State legislators that are most involved in healthcare issues. You will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with legislators, tour the capitol building, and network with colleagues. This educational program is designed to help to establish long-term relationships with legislators for continuing to advance Colorado as a leader in Health IT programs throughout the nation. CEU credits will be applied for.

Individual Meetings with Legislators
There will be individual constituent meetings with legislators that are organized in advance (based upon participant registrations). For this reason, it is extremely important to register for this event as soon as possible. You can register at the website of either www.chimss.orgor www.cohima.org.
Registration
There is a significant price break for early registrants. CHIMA or CHIMSS members that register early save $50.00! The early registration price for CHIMA/CHIMSS members is only $80 for the full program; members that register after February 28h will pay $130. Non-members that register early pay $120; late registrations cost $160. Students that register early pay only $50; and $70 for late registration. Don’t hesitate, register TODAY!
Concurrent Capitol Building Tours
Public tours of the Capitol Building are available in the afternoons. These tours last 45 minutes, and include your choice of a historical capitol tour, a legislative tour, or a climb to the top of the capitol dome.
