HIMSS Student Outreach
HIMSS has launched a new student outreach program to reach the healthcare information systems students and young professionals. So far we've headed up the new campaign with the following actions:

A retention email that highlighted the student benefits was sent to students

Young Professional Webinar was held September 23rd to highlight benefits, resources and careers in health information technology industry

Young Professionals Resource Center was launched www.himss.org/youngprofessional

Over 400 information packets were sent to university and college-level professors and teachers to spark interest and better inform the educators of this new program
