HIMSS Student Outreach
HIMSS has launched a new student outreach program to reach the healthcare information systems students and young professionals. So far we've headed
up the new campaign with the following actions:
- A retention email that highlighted the student benefits was sent to students
- Young Professional Webinar was held September 23rd to highlight benefits, resources and careers in health information technology industry
- Young Professionals Resource Center was launched www.himss.org/youngprofessional
- Over 400 information packets were sent to university and college-level professors and teachers to spark interest and better inform the educators of this new program
